Our nationally certified personal trainers will integrate strength, flexibility and balance to help you reach your health goals. We strive to provide a supportive and creative atmosphere. Our trainers are available to you at Richmond Balance and are able to go to your personal residence. Please come in and sign up for a free consultation with one of our experienced trainers.

We know that your life is busy. That is why Richmond Balance is now offering online personal training. You will have customized workout plans created for you. Our personal trainers will be available to discuss nutrition and exercise over the telephone and by email with you. This program is great for people that need to add variety to their normal routine. Personal training packages are available.

Look your best in just 12 WEEKS! Bridal Boot Camp is open to members and non-members. You will meet with a personal trainer 24 times during the 12 week period. The trainer will provide beginning and ending fitness assessments as well as nutritional consultations. Each week you will receive customized workouts. Non-Members will also receive a 12 week gym membership. This program is for the Groom too... You can train together or seperately.

Our personal trainers are available to come to your residence to best fit your schedule. We recognize that life is hectic and your schedule is tight. At home training can save you time while providing you with a quality work out to help you reach your health goals.

As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Jenny challenges her clients in and out of the gym. While increasing strength and cardiovascular wellness, she also encourages outdoor fitness. She received a Bachelors of Science in Recreation Studies from Ohio University in 2005. Jenny has experience teaching kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, and sailing. In addition to personal training, Jenny is the head of our Excursions program. If you are looking for assistance in planning an outdoor recreational adventure, Jenny is always glad to help you find something new for you to explore. She is also a Red Cross CPR/First Aid instructor.

Lara is an ACE certified personal trainer and has been training for over three years. Her interest in fitness began after the birth of her twins when she hired a personal trainer to assist her in losing the extra pounds she gained during pregnancy. The experience proved to be life changing. Seeing the benefits it has made in her own life has made her passionate about helping others set and achieve their own fitness goals. As a trainer, Lara’s area of focus is weight management and weight loss for both women and men. She finds nothing more rewarding than seeing clients reach goals they never thought were possible.

Herb Layne not only has the enthusiasm to train you but the creativity and spirit that makes you enjoy your training sessions.  His 10-year experience in the field shows with his capacity to work with anyone looking to make serious strides in their fitness level.  He is certified through ISCA and the United States Army as a Master Fitness Trainer.  He focuses on proper form and technique during your session to help avoid injury and maximize your benefits.  He specializes in bodybuilding, weight loss and all around athletics.

Certified as a Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Avery has an extensive background in health and fitness and has experience with a wide variety of clients.  She has collaborated with medical professionals to help transition patients out of physical and occupational therapy and has had success with clients seeking to increase strength, flexibility, and muscle mass, as well as those desiring to lose weight.  Avery’s workouts are designed for those who are serious about change and want a variety of workouts that are challenging and fun.
