Class Description - Richmond Balance Barre is a perfect mix of techniques used in traditional Barre and Physique 57 classes. The non-impact, core-based class offers a unique way to burn fat, reshape and elongate the entire body through muscle shaping isometrics, dance conditioning, an intense interval training pace, and varying weights. It will target all major muscle groups, strengthen your core and improve your posture.

PWR! Fitness Training

Translating research and function into the community setting through group classes and personal fitness training for individual’s with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.

Class Description - Exercises based on Exercise4BrainChange principles of practice, that have been shown in research to optimize brain repair, brain organization, and skill acquisition for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.

 

Balanced Buddies / Partner Training


Want to work out with a Personal Trainer and get in shape with a friend, partner, spouse or family member? Why not try our Balance Buddies Program and experience all the benefits from working with a personal trainer at a more affordable rate. Balanced Buddies is a fun yet intense way to get the professional guidance and motivation you need to succeed. You and your buddy will work with a trainer 3 times per week for 4 weeks and focus strictly on your specific fitness goals. Your chosen trainer will help you keep and monitor a daily food log, personalize an effective work out plan, and be available via email 7 days a week for guidance. This time around you will be successful because you will have the benefit of a solid plan that is executed with professional help and guidance.

Duration: 4 week training program / 12 training sessions
Frequency: Training 3 times per week for 4 weeks
Start Date: Anytime
Cost: $399 (Full-access gym membership is included)

This same amount of personal training purchased separately would cost over $600.00 per person.

Prenatal Fitness Program

Option 1: Classes

A healthy mommy equals a healthy baby and no matter how far along you are, our prenatal group fitness program is tailored to fit your needs. Join our certified instructors and other mommies-to-be for safe and effective training to include Yoga, Pilates, stretching, strengthening, relaxation, breathing, and more! A full access gym membership is also included.

Option 2: Personal Training

(Full Package) - This package is designed specifically for your individual needs. You will meet with your personal trainer 2 times per week for 12 weeks. A full access gym membership is also included so you can work out and attend classes when you're not with your trainer.

Marathon / Half-Marathon Training

We are pleased to announce that Richmond Balance will be training the Sports Backers Marathon Training Team and the Patrick Henry Half-Marathon Training Team. The goal of our training sessions will be to focus upon running-specific core muscles, leg strengthening, agility, and flexibility.
